[William and Akechi might not be in the best of terms due to their drastically differing mindsets but.. Mitama had somehow managed to pressure Akechi into this Secret Santa nonsense, so he might as well go through it now. Of course, the issue of him not really knowing William that well stays. Aside from being full of that rotting heroic righteousness that makes Akechi's head hurt. The damn bleeding hearts and so on.
But religion seemed to be important to the man and that is something that Akechi can respect. So by the Christmas day, he drops by the church that William is overseeing. He places the freshly created candles near the altar, even lighting one of them. 'Light' is something that is considered important and holy to many religions, so this should be the least offensive gift??
There is no card or note or anything like to it. Akechi honestly doesn't feel any need to have the other known just who the gift was from. ]

The Council has selected you for sentencing to atone for the above listed crimes. You are directed to turn yourself in within two (2) hours of receiving this message, or you will be forcibly detained. You are to meet the Council's representative outside of City Hall in order to respond to this summons.
[there's a bit of a jerking motion though, almost as if for a moment... he's going in another direction. there's a sort of grid-like pattern for a moment...

[ The jerky movements confirm his suspicions but he decides to keep silent. Instead he commits their path to memory and tries to observe as much as he can along the way to their destination. ]
[Jerry leads them down a hallway and stops in front of a rather nondescript door. he opens it, leading into an empty boardroom... and motions for him to go through.]
[William won't remember much after Jerry closes the door and the room goes dark. he may remember feeling judged, and voices from people he can't remember the faces of. he doesn't remember much, but he does remember the most important part:]
